An active research activity is carried out in the NRL SPI, and the most significant scientific topics in recent years are:

  1. "Molecular genetic approach to support the surveillance of antibiotic resistance of gonorrhea and genital mycoplasma infection", funded by FNI, contract No. ДН13/5 of 2017

  2. "Study of the public health benefits of extragenital chlamydia and gonorrhea testing", funded by the National Institute of Scientific Research, contract No. KP-06-M33/1 of 2019
